Guitar Instruction Site Expands Selection of Videos

Top of the Hill Music has expanded their lineup of instructional videos for electric guitar. Titles cover lessons for beginners to experienced players and everything from blues to 80's Hair Metal

May 2, 2009 - PRLog -- Top of the Hill Music recently completely revamped their guitar instruction web site.  The site was originally released about a month ago and featured one guitar course.  The site also originally sold guitars and accessories.  They have now dropped the guitars and related products and focused on instructional videos.  Instead of offering just the one course, they now offer many different courses covering a wide range of styles and levels of expertise.

When site owner James Hill was asked, why the change afte such a short time, he answered, "our customers were coming to our site looking for help in learning, not to buy gear. And we weren't meeting that need."  The new site is a stripped down version of the former, but focuses on guitar instruction.

"Sometimes diversity is good, other times it just distracts from what the customer is really searching for.  We strive to give the customer what they need and not try to bombard them with other things just to make a sale." says James.  From our review of the site http://www.howtoplayelectricguitar.org , it's obvious all the free lessons and tips are still in place, and the selection of instructional videos is superb.
