Hermosa Beach, CA Stand-Up Leadership Founder and Transformational Coach, Lori Ketkar presents the first “Leading Change” seminar with Guest Speakers, highly decorated Naval Flight Officer and popular Lecturer, CAPT “Luke” Lukenbill, and the first Female Brigade Commander of the US Naval Academy and inaugural Deputy Director, Space Systems Group, CDR Juliane Gallina. The Leading Change seminar takes place at The Shore Restaurant and Lounge located at 1320 Hermosa Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 on Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 5:30pm -8:30pm.

Stand Up Leadership’s Leading Change seminar will feature networking, appetizers, and a moment of silence for all our fallen military heroes, followed by dynamic lectures on motivating employees, weathering reorganization, improving presentation and organization skills, eliminating bottlenecks, and other leadership techniques by all three guest speakers.

Stand Up Leadership Founder and Transformational Coach Lori Ketkar will open the evening by speaking on “Busting Through Fear.” Ketkar offers expert coaching with a highly intuitive, compassionate, yet firm style. A former high school coach and communications specialist, Lori has successfully coached Aerospace professionals on improving and building their leadership, team building, self-assessment and organizational development skills for many years. She is currently completing an American Management Association certification.

The Keynote Speakers of the evening are Captain Francis C. “Luke” Lukenbill and Commander Juliane J. Gallina.  “Luke” is currently the Director, Space Systems Group, and the Deputy Commander, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Space Field Activity.  CAPT “Luke” has taught at the United States Air Force Academy, is a graduate of the Navy Test Pilot School and has held responsibility for multi-billion dollars worth of space-based reconnaissance systems, in addition to holding overseas posts during his 25 year naval career.

In 1991, Juliane was the first woman appointed Brigade Commander of the United States Naval Academy. She currently is a consultant to the intelligence and defense communities working for the National Interest Security Company and is a Vice President for Edge Consulting. Previously, she served at the National Reconnaissance Office for ten years in a variety of government assignments.   Most recently, Juliane was the Deputy Director of the Space Systems Group, Communications Systems Acquisition and Operations Directorate.
