In 2001, Rhonda Sparks lost her husband to skin cancer. Rhonda became passionate about raising awareness of the disease and providing information on skin protection. Her search for sun protective products that were comfortable and chemical free led her to the creation of UV Skinz. Their swim shirts provide a UPF of 50+ and are extremely comfortable with their breathable, silky-smooth material and flat-lock stitching. Kids love to wear these and they continue to update their line and add more products.
Rhonda continues to look for opportunities to raise awareness and protect children. She networks with parents to spread the word and has worked with many bloggers on giveaways. Since May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, UV Skinz is adding a free baby swim shirt to each customer order in the month of May. Rhonda hopes that her customers will pass these on to others that need them or donate them.
