Wide Asleep Slumber No More

According to Tampa author Timothy Kendrick, most people live their lives in a “Wide Asleep” state; they react instead of create. “If we do not control our thoughts,” he says, “there are plenty of people and things out there who will.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - May 01, 2009 -
His new book releasing nationwide this week, titled “Wide Asleep: Slumber No More,” points out that thoughts and ideas exist in the subconscious and conscious mind that create who people are. He provides ways to wake up readers’ lives by teaching how they can block the images, sounds, sublime messages that at many times assist in or contaminate thinking. The publisher says one of the many benefits “Wide Asleep” offers is better choices to stop the unconscious sabotage people receive and process.
The book is available at any bookstore nationwide or can be ordered through the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com, amazon.com or target.com.  “Wide Asleep” is also an eLIVE title, meaning each copy contains a code redeemable for a free audio download of the book from the publisher’s website. eLIVE – Listen, Imagine, View, and Experience!
Kendrick is a retired army combat veteran who was featured in Time Magazine (and several other media outlets) for his work in Somalia in 1993. He has taken the pains of war and tragedy and works with veterans, athletes, and entertainers all over the world, helping them to overcome their own personal challenges. He has authored five books and over 200 articles on self-empowerment. He currently resides in Tampa, Florida.
