Heroes and Legends Awards
Heroes and Legends cordially invite you to spend an "Evening with the Stars" at a star-studded charity reception to benefit our scholarship program from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2009. Come meet, greet and mingle with our special celebrity guests and past supporters. Confirmed participants include Freda Payne (Band of Gold), Claudette Robinson (Miracles), Betty Kelly (Martha & the Vandellas), Brenda Holloway (Every Little Bit Hurts), Scherrie Payne (Supremes), Hank Dixon (Originals), Marilyn McLeod (Love Hangover), Rynard Miner (Rescue Me), Miller London(Urban Network), just to name a few. Music, food and refreshments will be provided. A raffle to win 2 tickets (valued at $500) to the Gala Awards Dinner, "A Black Tie Affair", scheduled on Sunday, September 27 at the Beverly Hills Hotel Crystal Ballroom will also be held. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law (Fed tax ID 95-4541629). All proceeds for this event will go toward our HAL Scholarship Program.
