The receiver connects to any television or monitor for viewing and for VCR or DVR recording.  It can also incorporate up to 2 cameras and has a wireless transmission of up to 300 feet.  The signal passes easily through interior walls and in most cases only a slight adjustment is needed if necessary.  

There are 2 basic function buttons when it comes to the receiver – there is auto and manual.  In the auto mode the system will continuously switch between each camera every four seconds (given you choose to use a second camera).  In addition, that time can also be adjusted to run anywhere from 2 to 24 seconds.  The manual mode allows for the user to switch cameras at anytime, but has to physically be there to do it.
