The Graphic Products Custom Label Service provides the four most popular label styles and six types of headers: danger, warning, caution, notice, safety, and biohazard.
Four different label types are available to choose from: three-color, three-year indoor labels; three-color, five-year indoor/outdoor labels; two-color, five-year indoor/outdoor labels; and two-color custom labels.
Once the label type is selected, the Label Designer Control Panel guides customers through the following steps:
1. Choose Label Design (select layout and choice of header)
2. Choose Label Size (depending on label design choice, anywhere between 2” to 9” widths)
3. Input Text (type label message, and use sliders to adjust text size, text alignment, and boundary box around text)
4. Choose a Symbol (select from a wide range of commonly-used safety symbols)
5. Adjust Symbol (use sliders to adjust size and alignment)
A label preview to the right of the Label Designer Control Panel shows how the label will appear when printed, and the label preview is updated each time a design change is made during the online custom label design process.
“The Custom Label Service is not about selecting from a set of templates and pre-printed labels. It is about the customer taking control and designing the labels they need—quickly and easily—and then returning to the website to use the service as often as they need to,” said Hudgik.
