“Meet the Surflighters 2009” is a journey through 6 decades of Surflight  Theater’s history. From its humble beginnings in a tent in Beach Haven Crest, to its current home on Engleside Avenue, Surflight has always provided LBI with its own unique brand of enthusiastic performances. Walk through history while meeting the 2009 company, as they perform musical numbers from the current season:

Suddenly Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors), It takes Two (Hairspray), Chantilly Lace (Buddy), Make Them Hear You (Ragtime), Tell me on a Sunday (Tell me on a Sunday), Welcome to the Sixties (Hairspray)

Written by Surflight regular Andrew Foote, The Gala will feature the return of some familiar faces to the Surflight Stage, such as Matty Price, fresh from his debut on Broadway in Gypsy at the St James Theatre!

Celebrate Surflight’s 09 Season at The Gables (Centre St, Beach Haven):  Saturday May 23rd, with a wine and Champagne reception, and Dinner preceding the Gala.  $125 per person.
