Michael Kenneth Fahr gets VICTIMIZED!

April 30, 2009 - PRLog -- In 2002, during college, Michael Kenneth Fahr took a story development class.  He wasn't expecting much but time would tell how much of an impact that class had on him.  Seven years later one of his dreams would be coming true and in April of 2009 Michael's screenplay, VICTIMIZED, would be made into a feature film.  

    VICTIMIZED is about the relationship between two brothers, Josh and Matt.  Matt Miller has spent his entire life in the shadows of his brother.  He believes if his brother were to disappear then so would all his problems.  So, one deadly night Matt decides to take matters into his own hands!  

    Michael Kenneth Fahr has diversity, not only in his acting ability but in his appearance as well. With a background in theater and improv, he is ready to handle any challenge thrown his way.  One of his most satisfying challenges was acting out the lead role of Matt Miller in VICTIMIZED.  His passion, uniqueness and intensity are unmistakable throughout his work.  His other feature film credits include a supporting role in “For Christ’s Sake” as Graham Vance with Debbie Rochon, a Featured Zombie Extra in “Dead End” with Linnea Quigley and a supporting character role as Charles in “Brainjacked“ for Film Ranch International.

    Aside from acting, Michael has always been fascinated with directing.  His first chance at directing was in 1999 at the age of 17.  He co-directed and studied under Mandy Eagon for the theatrical production of David Mamet’s “All in the Timing”.   The play opened at The Player’s Theater in Sarasota, FL for a two day engagement. This time around to bring his vision to life, Michael ventured back to his home state of Connecticut to make his feature film directorial debut.  Lake Bunggee in Woodstock, Connecticut became home to the cast and crew for the eight day film shoot.
     
     It was important to Michael to have a skilled cast and crew behind him and that's exactly what he got.  However, while holding auditions for VICTIMIZED it was clear that casting was going to be a bit trickier then he had expected.  Certain roles were hard for him to keep cast and then two weeks before filming began his lead actress dropped out.  "I was not going to let one person decide if my film was going to get made or not."  Michael remained focused and continued to push forward to see the film through.  Once his final cast was in place everything came together.  "All of the actors gave great performances and I'm so happy everyone was part of the film."  Some of the cast includes Sarah Nicklin, Cuyle Carvin, Ellen J. Pilch and Jesse Murphy.    
   
    From the beginning Bryan Roberts and Nolan Ball were on board as the cinematographers along with Gunner N and Frank Dimauro in the sound department.  Also, Lauren Clark and Lisa Forst held their own with the makeup/effects while producer Dustin Hubbard kept everything on schedule.  "This was one hard working crew and I really think everybodies effort is going to show in the final product."  
   
    Also, Jamesson Beane will provide an original song for the VICTIMIZED soundtrack.  The song is titled "In the Shadows".  Look for his first music demo release in the Fall of 2009.  Look out for VICTIMIZED!  It is an independent suspense thriller produced by FunnyHo Films.  The release year is scheduled for 2010.  Post Production and a search for a distributor have already begun.
