Women now turn to the internet, reality television and the best sellers list for information on pregnancy, birth and parenting. While these are wonderful alternatives they can't take the place of women helping women. Filling this niche is Just Us Women Productions, LLC. Just Us Women will be hosting the Mama Mtoto Birth Circle. The Mama Mtoto Birth Circle is a group for pregnant and new mothers, with an infant 0 – 12 months, who want to enjoy the bonding and support of other women as they share the journey into motherhood. The circle is a safe and non-judgmental place for women to give voice to their joys, concerns, experiences, and ask questions about pregnancy or motherhood. Each circle includes open discussion and topic talk facilitated by a certified childbirth educator. Examples of topic talk include; balancing motherhood, bonding with your baby, preparing for pregnancy and sustaining your relationship as a wife, mother and lover. The Mama Mtoto Birth Circle is offered at two locations, Harlem and Pelham, New York. The Harlem circle is offered on Monday's from 6:00 to 7:30pm, May, 11, June 15 and July 13th at Gentle Spirit Midwifery Women's Health Services.
