Vaccon Company, Inc. of Medway, Massachusetts offers a line of pre-assembled high-speed blow-off vacuum pumps, levelers and cups for pick and place applications that require accurate part placement of irregularly shaped objects and/or rapid part release in dusty/dirty environments.
The Fastbreak vacuum pump’s high-speed blow-off action continuously self-cleans the vacuum lines to ensure a positive release into a nesting fixture for accurate part placement. With a variety of pump, spring leveler and cup combinations, the assembled unit can be customized to meet any pick and place application where parts may be lifted from uneven surfaces or where parts change shapes during production such as metal stamping, packaging, thermo-forming, plastic molds, pharmaceutical production, food processing etc.
For application flexibility, there are four Fastbreak pump styles VP0X, VP1X, VP2X and VP8X offering a choice of twelve venturi capacities and four different port connections. With one
connection installation, there is no on-site assembly or external plumbing required. Optional vacuum sensors are available for all models.
