Voltech Tejas Valves has been accredited as an approved manufacturer as per ISO-9001:2008 as the company has been found to confirm to the Quality Management Standard by Det Norsk veritas (DNV) .
The ISO 9001:2008 certificate was unveiled by Periyavar Thiru Pitchai mudaliar and handed over to Mr N Murugesan, Father of Chairman and Managing Director Mr M.Umapathi of the company at a glittering function held at Hotel GRT Radisson on 27 Th April , 2009. in presence of Industrial customers from BHEL, VOLTAS , Technel, Jaydheep, and many Consultants and Voltech group Dignitaries. The certificate is valid until 19 Th april 2012 concerning all activities related to: DESIGN , MANUFACTURE, SALE AND SERVICE OF INDUSTRIAL BALL VALVES, ON-OFF CONTROL VALVES AND REPAIR OF INDUSTRIAL VALVES.
Mr. m.Umapathi advised the Team of Tejas to exceed its sales by maximum utilization of its resources and Iso process accredited by the consultants . He goaded the staff and employees to instill quality consciousnessin all sections and implement ISO process in Total.
Mr. Pitchai mudaliar lauded the exemplary efforts of Mr M.umapathi for taking over two companies and merging it successfully into the group and giving fresh lease of life to the workers and staff of those companies and in addition maximising its potential by injecting liquidity and management process to make it grow. he cited a Thirukkural, that a man who is caring for the upliftment of many families , will be helped by god in all his actions throghout his life. He applauded the managements commitment to increase employment opportunity to 5000 Nos in their group companies and advised each and every one of the employee to feel as one to achieve its noble aspirations.
Mr.N.Murugesan advised young people to be self sacrificing to the Nation and asked them not to get trapped into getting things free, when one can earn themselves of his own.
