Mercury Hotels International, a hospitality company based in Woodbridge, New Jersey, has announced its launch of four new hotel brands. The brands are; the Cloud 9 Inn (an economy brand), Mercury Inn & Suites (a midscale brand), Mercury Grand (an upscale brand), and Mercury Hotels & Resorts (a four/five star brand). The four brands were unveiled at the recent AAHOA National Convention at the Gaylord Hotel, located outside of Washington, DC.
Mercury Hotels estimates that it will have over 200 properties under its various flags by the end of 2010. The company states that affiliation with any of its brands is based on a membership model, rather than the traditional franchisee/franchisor relationship operated by many other brands. The company offers a low application fee, flat monthly membership fees, an easy exit strategy, and a seamless activation into three of its brands. For owners looking for new construction opportunities, Mercury Hotels offers its design prototypes.
According to Bradley Zimmer, Senior Vice President, “we are accepting applications from owners looking to join the Mercury Hotels International family. We have made the process fairly painless for them.”
He went on to state that, “our brands will quickly gain traction across their various market segments because they offer a tremendous value proposition to owners with their capped membership fees and competitive application fees.”
