Parkway Green Adopts IBS OPENSystems Housing Solution to Boost Productivity and Service Delivery

Parkway Green Adopts IBS OPENSystems Housing Solution to Boost Productivity and Service Delivery

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 28, 2009 -
Manchester–based housing trust, Parkway Green, has signed a £150,000 contract with IBS OPENSystems, a leading provider of software and services to housing organisations and Local Authorities.  IBS’ OPENHousing solution will streamline management of Parkway Green’s properties, drive efficiencies and enhance its service to tenants.  The solution will go live in July 2009 for 50 users.

Parkway Green’s specific challenges include processing high volumes of housing applications and queries, achieving visibility of all processes, and meeting targets outlined in the Decent Homes Standard.  In order to meet these goals and boost productivity and service, Parkway Green needed a new solution.

Having reviewed the market, Parkway Green selected a shortlist of three providers and following closer analysis felt that IBS was superior in terms of user interfaces, functionality and compatibility with existing systems, and that the expertise of the consultants was second to none.  Also, having used IBS’ OPENContractor solution since July 2008, Parkway Green already had confidence that IBS’ ethos was aligned closely to its strategy.

Parkway Green will use all of OPENHousing’s modules including allocations, contact manager, rents and repairs modules as well as IBS’ ongoing technical support.

Tim Craig, Head of ICT at Parkway Green, comments:
“As a housing trust which is keen to continually improve service for its customers, it is imperative that we are in control of our own destiny and have the tools we need to achieve a first class reputation amongst the tenants we serve, whilst also ensuring maximum productivity and delivering on initiatives such as the Decent Homes Standard.  IBS OPENSystems has proved to be an invaluable partner through our use of its OPENContractor product and we have absolute confidence that OPENHousing will help us to deliver on our goals.”

Following go-live of OPENHousing, Parkway Green plans to implement IBS’ OPENMobile solution for field based staff in order to extend the benefits of OPENHousing and enhance service to tenants even further.
