The second Photo Contest of Greeka.com has already started and challenges everyone to participate. The only requisite is that you have visited Greece at least once and that you have taken pictures of this wonderful country…

Having more than 15,000 photos in its database, Greeka.com aims to offer the best possible view of a Greek town or island. That is why it always encourages its members to deposit their own “view” of Greece, by uploading photos of the places they have visited. To make this encouragement more challengeable, Greeka.com organized last year its first Photo Contest, waiting for no profit, just for fun! After the huge success of this first contest, the company has decided to repeat this contest in 2009, offering the participants even better prizes …
Participation
Everyone who has visited Greece at least once and has taken pictures of this beautiful country can participate to this contest. All you have to do is register in Greeka’s Members Area at http://www.greeka.com/
Pictures
The pictures participants can upload have to do with Greece and the Greek islands. They may depict landscapes, buildings, people and generally anything in Greece that inspired them to take a picture of it… Pictures can be either colored or black and white… In any case, these pictures must have been taken by you, which means that you must be the only copyright holder of them…
Prizes
Greeka.com has made a great effort so that prizes will thrill participants and will give them a chance to get to know Greece better. So, in collaboration with hotels on Greek islands and Blue Star Ferries nautical company, Greeka.com offers its first winners vacations on Greek islands! The rest 17 winners also get important prizes.
The 1st prize includes a 4-night stay in San Marco Hotel on Mykonos island for 2 people as well as ferry tickets to Mykonos.
The 2nd prize includes a 4-night stay in Pegasus Suites on Santorini island for 2 people and ferry tickets to Santorini.
The 3rd prize includes a 4-night stay in Agnanti Holiday Resort on Paros island for 2 people and ferry tickets to Paros.
The 4th winner gets a Nikon D90 camera and a big calendar of George Meis with Greek landscapes.
The 5th winner gets a Nikon Coolpix S230 camera and a big calendar of George Meis.
The other 15 winners get a normal calendar of George Meis.
The first three prizes were kindly offered by the hotel owners and the ferry company Blue Star Ferries. Any additional sponsorship is welcome so that participants will get more gifts.
