Turtle Days - Lighting of the Tiki Torches May 16, 2009
Annual Lighting of The Tiki Torches! Flotilla starts at Ted's Restaurant at 5:30 pm. Kayakers and non-motorized boaters are welcome! Flotilla will light torches along the route ending at Palm Street Pier and a Turtle Days Celebration.

Memorial Weekend Fireworks May 23-24, 2009
Annual Summer Weekend Fireworks tradition kicks off on Friday with another display on Saturday. Fireworks every Friday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Between Marlin & Red Snapper St. on Laguna Madre Bay, 9:15 p.m. Sponsored by the South Padre Island CVB, (956) 761-6433.
