Spokane, WA- Greater Spokane Incorporated (the region’s Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council) announced today that SiteCrafting, a Tacoma, Washington, company, has selected the Spokane Region for corporate expansion. An award-winning website design and application development company, SiteCrafting was founded in 1998 by President and CEO Brian Forth, a Gonzaga University graduate. SiteCrafting will relocate two employees from its Tacoma division to launch the new operation, including General Manager Mike Ash, originally from Tri-Cities. The company plans to open its new office in July with a team of five, and projects to have as many as ten employees by the end of the first year.
During his college career in Spokane, Forth was impressed by the quality of life and the availability of opportunities for business growth. “I’ve thought for several years that Spokane was really the type of community where our company could participate and thrive,” says Forth. “And the quality of talent coming out of Spokane’s colleges and universities has been impressive. We believe that we can fill our talent needs from the local workforce and new graduates.”

This is an employer with community- and family-friendly values that will provide opportunities for people pursuing high-tech careers in digital media and digital design.”
SiteCrafting is well known for its dedication to community service. “Our success today is due in part to our commitment to community. Over the years, we’ve dedicated time and resources to establish several programs including a non-profit grant and educational outreach initiatives that have helped businesses and organizations in our community thrive,” says Forth. “In return, the community has supported our growth in many ways. We plan to make our web experts available and extend these same programs to our Spokane community so that organizations, academic institutions and local businesses can have relevant knowledge of and access to leading web technology.”
“I feel SiteCrafting will provide a strong compliment to our existing digital media companies,” says Gary Mallon, Technology Industry Manager for Greater Spokane Inc. “Their confidence in Spokane as a growth market is very noteworthy and their expansion within Washington State is a win-win not just for our region, but the entire state as well.”
