With a drag coefficient of .35 and performance figures in the sub 5 second for the 0-60 mph dash and onto a top speed in the region of 150 mph, ¼ mile stats are 13.8 seconds @ 103 mph the SRT-8 is sure to impress.
Performance for the R/T follows very closely with the same .35 drag coefficient and a 0-60 mph time of 5.9 seconds and ¼ mile stats of 14.1 @ 100.8 mph. With independent front and independent rear suspension and a limited slip differential the car will handle and with 4-wheel vented disc brakes and 4-wheel ABS will give plenty of stopping power. The car has 20”x 9” front and rear unique SRT or R/T designed aluminium wheels with P245/45ZR all season high performance tyres.
The Challenger has an impressive array of standard equipment including leather interior, climate control, cruise control, power windows, a premium stereo and seating for 5. The SRT-8 is a available in a choice of 3 classic colours:- Hemi Orange Pearlcoat, Bright Silver metallic clearcoat and Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat, all with Dark Slate Grey leather interior, the colour choice is further increased for the R/T to include Blue Pearlcoat, Stone White Clearcoat, Inferno Red Crystal Pearlcoat, Deep Water Blue Pearlcoat, Dark Titanium Clearcoat and Torred.
