CELEBRATE EARTH DAY WITH A GRASSROOTS STYLE
Phoenix, Arizona (04-23-09) - The AZ Earth Day Coalition Celebration is producing an Earth Day celebration for the Citizens of Arizona on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 from 10:00 am to 4:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Ave., Phoenix Arizona. The event is a grassroots effort and is FREE for both booth participants and attendees. It will feature Eco-friendly exhibits and activities include solar cooking demonstrations, hybrid, electric, and biodiesel vehicles; permaculture;
The musicians offering their skills to this year’s largest Earth Day event in Phoenix are varied and reflect the mosaic of people that live in the Phoenix area. The times of performance and names of the bands are as follows:

1st Release: We are having an Earth Day Expo & Festival on Saturday April 25th at the 1st United Methodist Church 5510 North Central at Missouri. 10am to 4 pm There will be 75 exhibitors, kids activities, alternative cars and six local musician groups. The event is free to Everyone. C'mon down and see the exciting alternative technology exhibits. Major exhibits include Zero Energy Lifestyle Homes, Builders, Solar arrays, City of Phoenix recycling, and many more. Please join us for excellent information and a fun day.
Release #2; We are having an Earth Day Expo & Festival. We are getting excellent response from the community of alternatives exhibitors and had reserved over 50% of the spaces in the first week. We have more than 75 exhibitors for Green alternative, Earth friendly displays. Open from 10am to 4pm Saturday the 25th at the 1st United Methodist Church 5510 North Central at Missouri.
Release #3; We are having an Earth Day Expo & Festival. We have a Ford dealer with the newest Ford hybrids, an Electric car conversion specialist and the Phoenix EAA cars on display. So if you want to know about low cost alternative transportation, this is the place. Saturday the 25th from 10am to 4pm 1st United Methodist Church 5510 North Central at Missouri.
Release #4; We are having an Earth Day Expo & Festival. We have a number of organizations that care about animals, such as; wild horse rescue, bird sanctuary, and pet adoption. These humanitarian organizations and others, even the Sea Scouts will be represented, so mark that date Saturday the 25th on your calendar 10am to 4pm at the 1st United Methodist Church 5510 North Central at Missouri.
Release #5; We are having an Earth Day Expo & Festival. We have a display on zero energy lifestyle homes built with a new system that government tests have shown is 246% more energy efficient than wood construction, and there will be a specialist builder there to answer questions about super efficient and true zero energy homes. Saturday the 25th from 10am to 4 pm at the 1st United Methodist Church 5510 North Central at Missouri.

An exhibitor from Flagstaff is into home makeovers using green alternative products throughout...and her husband is into solar oven cooking....he may do some solar cooking displays (maybe a few samples). Hmmm...I can smell the aroma already...makes my mouth water. Speaking of water, there will be water filtering and conservation systems on display too.
