NEEZO Animation has collaborated with Rogers TV for their special presentation of GTA’s Most Wanted, airing Thursday, April 23 at 10:30pm.
The show, in its entirety, is dedicated to the case of 8-year-old Victoria “Tori” Stafford, of Woodstock. She was last seen leaving her school on April 8, and the investigation is still underway.
Authorities have provided the public with surveillance camera footage showing Victoria walking with an as yet unidentified woman. The grainy footage released was of the two females at a distance.
NEEZO Animation has digitally enhanced the details in the footage, and created a 3D model of the woman, moving her to the foreground, in the hopes of triggering an eye witness’ memory, and helping with the investigation.
Johnny Maalouf, Creative Director at NEEZO Animation, says this process had to be dealt with in a sensitive manner. He says, “In a situation like this, you have to be careful not to show anything that would possibly wrongly implicate anyone - from shoe and clothing brand, to marks on skin, and things of that nature. For example, we kept the shoes a solid white, and the bag a solid black. It's a serious criminal investigation, and we had to make sure not to impede that in any way.”
This being a time-sensitive case, the hope is that through the collaborative efforts of GTA’s Most Wanted and NEEZO Animation, we can come to learn the identity of the woman of interest, as well as Victoria’s whereabouts.
