For the third consecutive year, ShopBot Tools, a world leader in the design, manufacture and sale of affordable, high-performance CNC systems, will be a sponsor and featured exhibitor at the Bay Area Maker Faire presented by Make: magazine, May 30-31 at the San Mateo County Expo Center in San Mateo, California. As in the past, ShopBot will hold an event on the day prior to Maker Faire. This year's event will be a Camp ShopBot on May 29 that, like Maker Faire, will celebrate Americans’ talents, creativity and ingenuity. ShopBot owners and operators are encouraged to show and demonstrate the projects made possible by their ShopBots, and those who are not yet ShopBotters are welcome to learn and ask questions from the more experienced 'Botters.

This year's fourth-annual Maker Faire will be organized around the theme of Re-Make America and celebrates what President Obama called "the risk takers, the doers, and the makers of things." The fourth-annual Maker Faire will showcase individual creativity and grassroots innovation in the largest festival devoted to DIY culture and technology in the country, and ShopBot is proud to be able to tie in to this year’s theme. There is no cost to participate in Camp ShopBot, but attendees are asked to register for the event so that we may plan appropriately.
