Join us in Granbury for the first annual Memorial Day "Hometown Fair and Picnic". Visit Shanley Park where the kids can participate in games,hop on a ride at the carnival, have a picnic lunch, go fishing in the fishing pool and watch duck races. Mouth watering watermelon will be sold on the historic square. There will be a watermelon spitting contest, an apple pie baking contest, old fashioned ice cream contest, apple pie eating contest and many other activities. Arts and Craft and Food vendors, live entertainment with dancing in the streets will all be on the Historic Square located downtown Granbury. On Sunday the D&D Rockin' Rods Classic Car Show will come to town (located just off the square at 600 W. Pearl St.) from
12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. On Monday, the Memorial Day "Flags of Freedom Parade" will start at 12:00 noon and go around the Historic Square. Mark your calendar and join us for a fun filled weekend in Historic Granbury, where Texas History Lives!
