Inspired by the cult cartoon "DangerMouse"
from Cosgrove/Hall Films which ran from 1981 - 1992 the EFDF team looked at the unlikely secret agent duo of a mouse and a hamster who travel in a flying car and take orders from a walrus, and made the starts of their show a faucet (in Britain known as a 'tap') and a sponge who travel on a duck and take orders from a banana with a mustache.
It was a logical step. And thus, "DangerTap" was created. The situations the heroes find themselves in are somewhat more bizarre than one is used to seeing on cartoons, and it's most certainly aimed at the audience who watched DangerMouse as children rather than *actual* children. Kids don't want to see a villain occasionally succeed - or be brutally murdered by the titular character - but adults do. They also want to see boobies, but there aren't any of those to be found here I'm afraid.
Oh, and somewhere along the line comes comedy. Lots of it. In buckets. With some blood.

http://www.prlog.org/10222941/1Often quoted as being "Monty Python for the internet generation" English For Dirty Foreigners is the lovechild of Lee Isserow, Trevor Fleming and Nico Xander. Not only are we makers of the comedy, but also a walking joke-waiting-to-happen, being respectively a Jew, an Irishman and a Greek.
They travel from land to land, town to town and pub to pub, looking for a joke for them to walk in on. It hasn't happened yet, but they are certain it will one day.
The show was originally created for the BBC's Comedysoup, with 10 episodes aired by the BBC. Five years later the show is back with it's very own domain name: EnglishForDirtyForeigners.com where new episodes and pilots are released every weekend.
The cast also includes Tall Pall, Niki Nitis and Nigel Doylerush - with additional material by Nikol Hasler of the ever so popular www.MidwestTeenSexShow. com
