The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with EB Brands, on April 16th, announced a voluntary recall of stability balls (also known as physioballs)
The company, EB Brands has received 47 complaints of the balls unexpectedly bursting, with multiple reports of people that have received fractures or bruises from using the apparatus.

*No excessive bouncing on the ball
* Look to purchase burst resistant stability balls ( if punctured, these balls deflate slowly, decreasing the risk of injury)
* Minimize added weight on the stability ball (including dumbbells)
* Inflate the ball according to the instructions of manufacturer—
