La Mesa Beautiful's Annual Plant Sale

April 22, 2009 - PRLog -- La Mesa Beautiful will hold its Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2009. It's held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church on the corner of Lemon Ave and Glen St in La Mesa, CA. The sale begins at 9:00 AM.

Many nurseries donate to this annual plant sale making this the largest plant sale in the city of La Mesa. This non-profit organization, La Mesa Beautiful, has been in La Mesa for nearly 30 years. Their main goal is to help keep the City of La Mesa Beautiful.

All proceeds of the plant sale go to La Mesa Beautiful, mostly in part to their Horticultural Scholarship Funds and Arbor Day celebrations which take place in many schools throughout the La Mesa Spring Valley School District.
