COX II-H patient laser and IPL eye shield
Laser Safety Industries, Minneapolis, MN – April 12, 2009 – LSI now offers COX II and COX II-H ocular laser and IPL (intense pulsed light) shields. The stainless steel non-reflective surface disperse laser and IPL energy. Ocular shields are design to conform to the globe of the eye and are vaulted to allow room for the cornea. High polished posterior surface and rounded edges offer additional comfort and reduce the chance of injuring the eye. They are autoclabable, durable, and low maintenance. Ocular Shields are ideal for most laser and IPL applications and provide superior protection for working within close proximity to the patients eyes.
COX II has and easy to use suction cup for insertion and removal.
COX II-H has an Offset handle allows for the eye lid to close without causing pressure on the Ocular Shield, causing it to rotate risking corneal irritation or exposure of the globe.
