Ricoh has announced that a new high-volume mono range will debut at this year’s Northprint exhibition to help in-house printers overcome their two most significant challenges. Under pressure to cut costs, they are also looking to bring jobs back in-house that are currently outsourced. This additional volume reduces turnaround times and potentially increases the number of short-run jobs they are being asked to deliver.
With the launch of its Pro 907EX/1107EX/
“Not only does our new range of high volume mono devices offer improved in-line finishing, but it also helps to reduce total cost of ownership compared with a digital press and separate offline finishing peripherals”
Other in-line finishing options include a high performance booklet finisher and trimmer; Plockmatic booklet maker and GBC Stream Punch III. In-line finishers enable documents to be automatically processed from input to output with reduced human intervention, enabling in-house printers to reduce cost and focus on other revenue-generating activities.
For customers that lack either resources or manpower, Ricoh’s new high volume mono digital presses can create a real competitive advantage by enabling them to take on, and retain control of, an increasing number of jobs, whilst reducing operational costs.
