West Coast Getaways combine Artist Studios Tours and the Pleasures of the Countryside

For three weekends in May, Saanich, BC turns into a haven for art-lovers as local artists display their talent at weekend-long studio tours, making Saanich and its surroundings a spring getaway destination that promises to engage all the senses.

April 22, 2009 - PRLog -- In spite of being a stones-throw away from BC’s bustling provincial capital, Saanich has retained its rural charm, complete with farmers markets, country B&B’s, historic trails and breathtaking vistas in little-frequented parks.  One of the oldest agricultural settlements in the province, Saanich is also home to a diverse community of artists and artisans who surprise and delight visitors to their studios during a series of Studio Tours.
