The V55 workstation is based on the Intel® S5520SC workstation motherboard supporting two Intel® 5500-series Xeon® processors formerly known as Nehalem and up to 96GB of fast DDR3 memory. With two top-speed Intel Xeon W5580 processors and two PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots, the V55 workstation will energize the most demanding high performance graphics-intensive applications including CAD, CAM, industrial design, AEC, DCC, Web design, oil and gas exploration, financial services, EDA and CAE.
