At 15, she gave birth to an illegitimate child while imprisoned in a convent. Shortly after, she married the father of the child and gave birth to two more children. After a decade of nearly fatal physical abuse, Sarah found the courage to escape and to begin a new life back in England.

Sue McKeough was born in England, but currently lives on the Gold Coast of Australia. A Destiny To Be Reached is based on the horrors of her life and how she fought to overcome them. At age 59, she has decided to share her story in order to help spread a positive message about the journeys and choices we make in life and the wonders we experience along the way. She plans to continue her life story with her next book.
