April 20, 2009 - PRLog -- The online world has some amazing benefits, but still something is missing when trying to meet new like minded people. Whether for business or personal contacts, face to face meeting is still the optimal way to connect - now at this new social salon Buddha Lounge Toronto.
The bar scene is old, tired and noisy, and maybe it doesn’t attract the kind of folks you are interested in. That, and her desire to introduce people inspired Helen Goldstein of Toronto, Canada begin her new business venture - a brand new monthly social salon called BUDDHA LOUNGE TORONTO - Social connecting at fun, interactive, and educational events, where you may find other “Green”, eco-aware, spiritual souls and make new business or personal friends.

“.. I love connecting great people to other great people.  It was one of the most satisfying parts of owning and operating The Yoga Studio, Toronto, for so many years.  And when I give my legendary parties, I just love feeling the energy, hearing the buzz, seeing like-minded people connect and share” enthused Helen.

Her infamous parties got too big for her home so Helen has arranged a monthly salon at the elegant Hart House at the University of Toronto.  Each event will feature a DJ music and dancing, delectable nibbles, cash bar and edutainment presentations.

“Helen’s parties are always so stimulating, I can’t wait to meet more people in such a great environment” Linda T, Toronto.

The inaugural May 7 Event is going to be spectacular.
Headliner Pam Gerrand  will take us on a heart-opening journey of joy and awakened awareness with soulful song, poetry and sounding.  Backed up by the Bhadra Collective – A fresh, new fusion of modern world-beat grooves and melodies. Followed by dancing to  DJ Juke’s dance music.

In addition, there will be time for mingling, eating, drinking.  There will be opportunities to discover and perhaps trade the contents of the surprise goodie bags, valued at over $200 of ‘Green’ and eco-friendly products.

“Unlike anything you've experienced before”. Sara S. Toronto

“Like Minded People in a positive, relaxed, laid back, community atmosphere”. Rick D, Toronto.
