Gian Fiero who created and conducts the renowned Music Industry Career Planning course at San Francisco State University's Music Recording Industry Program will hold a special panel discussion this summer for past, present, and future students.
This special seminar, entitled "Making A Living Making Music," is part of an ongoing series that features commentary and insight by experienced professionals who work in various areas of the music and entertainment industries, that will benefit those with similar aspirations.
"Last semester my Career Planning class had its first panel discussion in which I essentially invited my friends and colleagues to come out and share their knowledge and experience with my students," Gian says. "I also opened it up to the public and invited former students who relished the opportunity to gain and share information, which is what networking is all about. I will conduct one of these special panel discussions every semester specifically for that reason.”
