, a leading drug and alcohol addiction recovery residence for men based in Lawrenceville, GA, today announced its involvement in the International Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous.
The International Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous is an annual celebration of sobriety among AA’s younger generation. Young people from all over the world will meet in Atlanta May 21st-24th to share their experiences with alcoholism and their dedication to sober living. With over two thousand people expected this year, the 51st conference requires a great deal of planning and plenty of volunteers. Two Purple Inc. staff members are on the host committee that is making this conference possible and two other staff members are volunteering to assist with the many panels, meetings, and activities taking place over the weekend. In addition to staff involvement, several Purple alumni are also involved in volunteering at the conference.
