2009 'North of the Wall' Prize
The inaugural North of the Wall Annual Art Prize, an exciting new initiative aimed at stimulating the creative arts in general, as well as promoting the work of disabled artists, was launched in January this year.
The prize money on offer this year totals £6,000, including £3,000 for the overall winner, three runners up prizes of £500 and £1,500 for the winner of the disabled artist category.
Entry forms, along with images of the art work(s) being submitted, must be received by 30th April 2009, and all artists will be advised whether or not their work has been accepted for exhibition by the end of May 2009.
The Prize Exhibition will be held in July/August 2009 in the North East of England, with details of the specific location and opening times to be announced during May 2009.
