Patrons frequenting the ZIPS Scaggsville Drycleaners will be treated to a reduced price for their dry cleaning and laundry services for a one-day only Customer Appreciation Event on Saturday, April 25, 2009.
Each garment brought to this ZIPS location on April 25th for dry cleaning and/or laundry will only cost customers $0.99 —a whole $1.00 less than the ZIPS regular price.
“Our customers have been loyal to our business since we opened last spring and deserve a special day so we can say ‘thank you’ for your support,” says Samir Thakkar, ZIPS Scaggsville owner.
The family event will include complimentary refreshments and have a carnival-type atmosphere, complete with popcorn and cotton candy machines and a moon bounce for children. Mr. Thakkar will culminate the day’s events with a raffle for a free iPod, a GPS navigation system, and a flat-screen LCD television.
“You don’t want to miss this event,” says Mr. Thakkar. “The more we can get to know our customers, the more relationships we can foster. Our goal is to be a permanent fixture in the Maple Lawn community. We have seen so many businesses come and go in this area, so we are thankful that our customers find value in our services and have kept coming back.”
To coincide with the 1-year anniversary, ZIPS Scaggsville now also provides alterations services as well as dry cleaning and laundry.
ZIPS Scaggsville is located at the intersection of Rt. 29 and 216 in Howard County, and is one of 16 ZIPS locations that have become popular across the Metropolitan area. The one-price drycleaner intends on opening many more locations across Maryland and Virginia this year.
