Day 1: Hanoi – Hue
Half day city tour of Hanoi before afternoon flight to Hue. Evening at leisure.

Day 2: Hue  – Danang
After breakfast we’ll begin with a cruise along the romantic Perfume River, passing opulent palaces and gardens of the 19th century Nguyen kings. We then dine in a fine local restaurant and sample some Hue delicacies. After lunch we transfer to Da Nang – this is a spectacular coastal drive along the south China Sea, arriving in Danang late afternoon. (B,L)

Day 3: Danang – My Son day trip
After breakfast, we embark on a day trip to My Son, via the Cham Museum board our bus to visit Cham museum before we continue to My Son. Located 60 km. from Danang, My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham centers in Vietnam, it is also the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. Their religion was primarily derived from Indian Hinduism, although as at Angkor Wat the tower structures are dedicated to the former divine Cham monarchs themselves. The complex is comprised of seventy towers and temples. My Son is now one of four World Heritage-listed sites in Vietnam. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Danang - Hoi An
After leaving Danang we drive the short distance to the delightful town of Hoi An approximately 30km away. Once in Hoi An we will check into our hotel before embarking on an orientation tour of this ancient trading town. We spend our time walking around the historic town soaking up the atmosphere, exploring the many Chinese assembly halls and fascinating ancestral homes some of which have been occupied by the same family for fifteen generations. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An tailoring and cooking day
Enjoy a morning market tour to gather fresh produce for you half day cooking class! Hoi An is a culinary town and you will learn some of its delicious recipes in this half day cooking class. Of course, lunch will be the fruits of your rewards!
After lunch we will take a local sampan down Hoi An river to visit traditional handicraft villages.
Evening at leisure.
