GORHAM, NH – Berlin City Auto Group, located in Gorham, New Hampshire recently sponsored the annual Safety Belt Challenge held by Gorham Middle High School Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD).
The contest teaches seat belt and driving safety in an educational and entertaining manner. This year 28 students from GMHS participated. The group was divided into teams of four, safety questions were asked then the team members raced to seatbelt themselves in nearby vehicles. The team that had the fastest time won a trip to Concord, the State Police training facility on Hazen Drive.
Each year a statewide competition is held at the facility with winners from across New Hampshire. This year the challenge will be held May 5th.
Winners this year were Breally Bunch, Brittany Raymond, Julianne King and Hillary Oleson with a time of 41 seconds The runner ups included Stefan Gorham, Valerie King, Tara Cloutier and Linda Montiminy with a time of 43 seconds.
The contest was held at the Berlin City Auto Group in Gorham. The dealership also provided the vehicles used in the contest. The Berlin City Auto Group, with dealerships throughout New England, specializes in the sales, service and parts for seventeen automotive manufacturers and pre-owned vehicles.
