After ten years of successfully integrating stories in the education system in over 50 schools in and around Bangalore, Kathalaya launches its Chennai operations on April 18, 2009.
The launch will see trained members of Kathalaya conduct a series of children’s activities across Odyssey stores in the city. Ace Storyteller and Executive Director of Kathalaya, Geeta Ramanujam will entertain children with her extraordinary story telling skills coupled with a Puppet Show, on the day of the launch. The show will begin at 6 p.m. at the Odyssey Store in Adyar. Entry is free.
Using the techniques of narration, story reading, picture stories, toy theatres, clay modeling, puppetry, shadow play, role play and craft activities, Kathalaya reaches out to students and teachers in making learning an enjoyable experience.
