(Regina, SK) March 31, 2009 — The Canadian Short Screenplay Competition, the most prestigious screenwriting competition in Canada, has crowned the winners and their scripts for 2008. There were submissions from all across the world in this annual competition and after several rounds of intense judging thirteen scripts have been selected. The top three will be produced by Year of the Skunk Productions. The writers behind these three award-winning scripts are also the lucky recipients of a face-to-face meeting in Toronto, ON with top film and television literary agent Glenn Cockburn of Meridian Artists. A further 10 finalist will have their scripts read by Cockburn for consideration.
