April 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Pop and Dance Recording Artist Brian Anthony’s international hit “Worked Up!” is featured in the 20th Century Fox movie “Dragonball Evolution.” He wrote and produced the song that peaked at number seven on the U.S. Billboard Club Play Chart, number eight on the U.K. Upfront Club Chart and crossed over to number seven on the U.K. Commercial Pop Chart.

“I feel really lucky to have my music showcased in this film,” says Brian Anthony. “It’s an awesome feeling to be watching a movie and hear a song I wrote playing in the background.”

This marks the third time Anthony has one of his songs featured in a 20th Century Fox Film. He wrote and produced “Come And Get It” that was in “Garfield 2: Tail of Two Kitties.” The music video for the single was showcased in the DVD’s Special Features section. His single “WhatsitgonnaB? (I’m So Ready)” was included in the DVD release of the blockbuster “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” Both singles became international chart-topping hits.

“Brian’s music is a perfect fit for our international audiences and serves as a great backdrop to our films,” says Ted Gagliano, President of 20th Century Fox Film Studios Feature Post Production.

Due to the proven success of his partnerships with 20th Century Fox, Anthony signed a deal with Fox Mobile/Jamster. He represents the new business model for the restructured company by providing original music and Fox Mobile/Jamster creates exclusive content, including video tones, rings tones, wallpapers and downloads. In addition, he is in development for a mobile reality series called “BECOMING: Brian” and Kodak provided him with the Zx1 HD Pocket Video Camera to capture his musical journey and help build stronger relationships with his fans.

“This is the future of the music industry and I’m excited to be a part of it,” says Anthony. “It’s awesome to be able to share the story of my life with my fans and provide them with a behind the scenes look at my successes and struggles as an independent artist with my straight to mobile reality series.”

With three chart-topping singles under his belt and a legion of faithfully devoted fans, Brian Anthony’s international persona is clearly on the rise. Undeniably sexy, high energy hooks and beats fuel his pop/dance songs. His performances are driven by his powerful vocals, matinee-idol good looks and steaming hot dance moves. He's a songwriter, producer and performer poised for international mainstream success.

About Pop and Dance Recording Artist Brian Anthony: The San Francisco native has always been driven when it comes to making music. As a child, Brian was playing popular radio hits on the piano by ear. He eagerly pursued formal piano lessons and vocal training during his high school years. He began appearing in musical theater, where his star was discovered by an agent. However, it was a chance victory in a contest sponsored by NBC's Saturday morning "Name Your Adventure" program that catapulted Brian. That win gave him a chance to write a song with Boyz II Men. The resulting tune, "Save Me from the Pain," aired across the nation and solidified Brian's reputation as one of the country's most promising young singer/songwriters.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Brian made his mark in the pop scene with his self-penned ballad titled "Champion," which became the theme song at the 2005 Special Olympics Summer Games.
