FALLS CHURCH, VA – New Vision Engineering Group, Inc., was recently awarded two new contracts to provide IT services to national defense organizations. The awards follow on New Vision’s success as a primary contractor to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and as a supplier to Lockheed Martin in support of the Department of Defense (DoD).
The new Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) award calls upon New Vision to provide integrated, seamless support for DCMA’s Telecom Division in Boston. New Vision will support acquisition and billing of telecommunications systems and services by developing, drafting, and tracking acquisition requirements;
In a separate contract award, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) has chosen New Vision to provide maintenance and technical support for audiovisual (AV) systems at 12 locations throughout the Washington, D.C., area. New Vision will provide “on call” emergency service and maintenance as well as regular repair and replacement of parts and equipment for Video Telecommunication (VTC) systems and Audio Visual Information Portal (AVIP) that allow NAVFAC Washington field offices to teleconference and to receive command information. With 1,500 employees, NAVFAC Washington manages shore facilities for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and other Federal clients in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
