Dietkus always had wanderlust; as a child, she was accustomed to being on the move while her father chased work in the American West during the late 40s and early 50s.

Toni and her husband, Nick Lane, found themselves in hard times, financially, and became long-haul truckers.  Before their experience, Toni felt annoyance—as most of us do at times—with these big rigs which dominate our highways.
