Mary R. Bailey is a secondary English teacher who lives in Central Virginia with her husband and two children. She is a four-time nominee for Who’s Who among America’s High School teachers, was a semi-finalist for the prestigious McGlothlin Award in 2007, and was recently inducted into Delta Kappa Gamma, a society of key women educators. She holds degrees from Virginia Tech and Lynchburg College, and attended the University of Virginia’s Central Virginia Writing Project in 2007.
