Flowcrete will be showcasing its inspirational flooring at Street Design 2009
Flowcrete will be showcasing its inspirational range of flooring - designed to transform external urban environments - at Street Design 2009.
The flooring manufacturer will be highlighting systems including the ultra fast-track decking system Deckshield Rapide, used in installations throughout the UK and across the globe.
Utilising the latest in flooring technology, Deckshield Rapide is the ideal choice for car parks, as well as pathways, entrance and exit points and other foot and vehicular traffic areas.
It dries just hours after application – speeding up programme times for new build and refurbishment projects and providing a useful solution in wet weather conditions.
Traditionally, rain can hamper the installation process with traditional decking systems. This is because, when the elastomeric layer is put down, the next layer has to be applied after 24 hours – a problem if the weather takes a turn during the application – but one avoided with Deckshield Rapide due to its rapid curing times.
Also on show is Flowcrete’s Naturewalk, a resin-bound gravel system, which transforms external areas, creating eye-catching, attractive environments. Recent installations include the pathways and entrances throughout Royal Ascot in Berkshire.
Flowcrete’s stand at Street Design 2009 is S176. The event takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from 21 -23 April.

Street Design 2009 is a visionary new event focused on the core areas of outdoor street furniture, public lighting and the urban built environment.
The event will co-locate with Traffex, the 24th international traffic engineering, road safety, highway infrastructure and maintenance exhibition and Parkex; Europe’s largest dedicated parking exhibition.
These combined events will provide visitors with the opportunity to see over 500 exhibitors from the world of street design, traffic management and parking.
