MIE Exchange notifies the buyer of all RFQ responses in real time including preparing bid, no bid and submitted bids from the suppliers. MIE Exchange aggregates and compares the competing supplier responses in a spreadsheet like format which can be sorted in the preferred ranking method of the buyer.
Supplier RFQ and BID Management - Through MIE Exchange faxing, emailing and phone calls are eliminated or minimized as suppliers get all their RFQs electronically. As buyers submit RFQs to their private supplier list, suppliers receive the RFQs online which can be directly turned around into a supplier response. The entire process is managed through MIE Exchange through its intuitive workflow mechanism. Suppliers can then view the status of their RFQs responses in real time as the buyer reviews, closes and awards the RFQ.
Document Management - Buyers can store documents, drawings and specifications in MIE Exchange while giving the private supplier community access to these documents and catalogs. Eliminating the need for emailing and FTP downloads in order to save both the supplier and buyer time and effort.
PO Creation and Management - Buyer may award RFQs to either single or multiple suppliers directly through MIE Exchange. Suppliers can gather their purchase orders, change orders online in electronic format. Transaction history is visible to both the buyer and supplier.
An open and flexible APO enables existing ERP/MRP and Accounting systems to integrate with MIE Exchanges to eliminate as much duplication as possible. Purchase orders can be pushed into MIE Exchange from existing manufacturing and accounting systems which enables suppliers to pick up their purchase orders online and electronically downloaded into their sales order system.
