Robert C. Hummel Joins National Museum of Wildlife Art Board

Colorado Businessman Robert C. Hummel joins the Board of Trustees of the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

April 14, 2009 - PRLog -- The National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is pleased to announce the addition of Robert C. Hummel to its Board of Trustees.  Of Hummel, Museum President & CEO, James C. McNutt, Ph.D., says, “Bob Hummel is well-traveled and brings great board experience to the Museum, and has already shown his interest in governance—plus he has a career connection with animals and nature that fit the Museum’s mission.”

Hummel is a dual graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.S., Agriculture, and D.V.M., both achieved in 1961.  He also successfully completed the Owner-President Management Course at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.  In 1967, he founded Lextron, Inc. one of the larger Animal Health distributors in the U.S., and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

He serves on The Ohio State University Foundation Board.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of Phoenix Pharmaceutical, Inc., The Bank of Choice, Sun Valley Bancorp, and First SouthWest Bank.  

He and his wife, Carole, have two grown children and seven grandchildren and they reside in Northern Colorado.
