Dippin'Dots New Robotic Vending Machine in Canada

TORONTO -   Dots Canada has launched a new product called Dippin’Dots Pre-Paks which is now being sold through Dippin’ Dots’ fully robotic vending machines in Ontario and Calgary.  No scooping is needed as each Pre-Pak pouch has a tear away flap, which is easily opened and ready to eat. You don’t even need a spoon to enjoy these Dippin’ Dots, just shake them into your mouth and savour each flavour. Available in four flavours- Banana Split, Rainbow Ice, Cookies n Cream and Chocolate, Pre-Paks are PEANUT FREE and contain 2.5 ounces of Dippin’ Dots in each colourful package. Three of the Pre-Pak flavours are certified COR Dairy, and the Rainbow Ice is PARVE.
Dippin’ Dots® – are thousands of tiny flash frozen beads of ice cream kept at -45 degrees. Dippin’ Dots was created by microbiologist, Curt Jones, who in 1987, conducted research in his parent’s garage in Illinois, to cryogenically freeze ice cream, Cryogenic freezing is a method of freezing food products at extremely low temperatures by immersing them in a cryogenic gas, such as liquid nitrogen or liquid carbon dioxide. Jones’s research was successful, and in 1988, Dippin’ Dots was born. Dippin’ Dots ice cream is now available in thousands of locations worldwide.
In 2005, Dippin’ Dots began production in Ontario. Dots Ontario is the distributor of Dippin’ Dots® offering direct delivery within Canada.  Dippin’ Dots’ vending machines are located in movie theatres, shopping malls, amusement parks and hotels across Ontario. Pre-Paks are also sold in Party Paks, which are insulated boxes packed with dry ice to ensure optimum temperatures for delivery and serving, at corporate or private events.
