PR Log (Press Release) – Apr 13, 2009 – Founded by a former teacher, Sprout Classrooms gives educators a central location to buy and sell used classroom resources, protecting both their wallets and the environment.

Our mission at Sprout Classrooms is to help teachers recycle and reuse classroom resources. We purchase items from educators who are retiring, changing grades or downsizing their classroom. We then offer these items to other teachers, allowing them to reuse existing resources instead of buying new.  Teachers can purchase recycled products through our website, www.sproutclassrooms.com.  Item prices are kept as low as possible, allowing teachers to outfit their classrooms at extremely affordable rates.

Sprout Classrooms is committed to being environmentally friendly on all fronts.  All resources needed to run the company are purchased locally, are used and are eco-friendly.
