Ideas and stories began to form in the author’s mind until Cordero, a schoolteacher, sat down and created a book that addresses issues many of our children and single parents face today.

This story is told from the fresh and simple perspective of a 5-year-old girl living at separate homes with her divorced parents. It shows how a father’s presence can remain consistent and positive, conveying the unselfish, nurturing and critical relationship between a father and his daughter.

About the author:
Bobbie Cordero has been teaching children for over 48 years. It was through watching children struggle with having "two homes" and custody issues that the idea of writing children's books relating to separation and divorce came to her. She and her husband, Ed, live in Solvang, California where she pursues her love of writing and Ed pursues his love of sculpting.
