Mania in Houston. PASSION in Whitby! AWF Pro-Wrestling Returns May 3!!‏

April 25, 2009 - PRLog -- The APOCALYPSE WRESTLING FEDERATION (AWF) would like to extend it's sincerest congratulations to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for the record-breaking success of it's 25th Anniversay Wrestlemania event.

Although the mania may have been in Houston the unbridled passion and the future of the mat sport will be in Whitby, Ontario, Canada on Sun. May 3 when the APOCALYPSE WRESTLING FEDERATION returns after a 6 year sabatical to once again showcase professional wrestling's future stars.

Originally established in 1998, under the direction of professional wrestling trainer RON HUTCHISON,  the APOCALYPSE WRESTLING FEDERATION was the starting point for many of today's biggest professional wrestling stars.  Former women's champions BETH PHOENIX,  GAIL KIM and 7 x world women's wrestling champion TRISH STRATUS along with former televison wrestling performer KIZARNY and current SPIKE TV  personality TRACI BROOKS all first stepped in to an Indy wrestling ring under the auspices of the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation.  Hutchison was also the trainer of WWE champions EDGE, CHRISTIAN CAGE, TIGER ALI SINGH and many, many more, including WCW and ECW's JOHNNY SWINGER.

On Sun. May 3 in Whitby, Ontario the magic of the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation will continue as the AWF debuts at it's new home, the AWF Action Centre, inside the beautiful Class Act Dinner Theatre (104 Consumers Drive) @ 2 PM.
